Description:The fact that this is the first book in a series boggles the mind. I can't imagine listening to anything more about these two. Even for the genre, it was so painful to listen to. I am an editor for a small publisher, and a lesbian so it hurts me to thoroughly trash a book, and I feel that I should say something positive. From the dull mini-bantering sessions meant to give the reader some sense of the couple's playful side to the stilted, unrealistic declarations of love to the ridiculous coincidences the author thought necessary to further the plot, this book made me wince, cringe, roll my eyes and actually cry the word "seriously" out loud more times than I care to remember.
