These pagoda lanterns work great. They are cute. The only problem I have is that they do not send out enough light. But to enhance my flower bed, they work.
Description:As to today, the lantern has become a symbol of traditional Chinese culture, playing an important role in celebrations and ceremonies, and remain popular. Also in Ming Dynasty, but during the reign of Emperor Yongle, after the government moved to Beijing, lamp posts were placed on the Meridian Gate Wu men , and a lantern fair was set up out of Hua Gate. It is made by thin wood as the skeleton and then covered with cloth and glass. It can be a candle or a lamp. Besides lighting function, the palace lanterns are also valuable collections for Chinese lantern collectors. They boast a time-honored history and a delicate beauty.
