Description:A Protocol on Notification Procedures has been established to provide advance warning of actions or measures that can have an adverse effect on concessions granted under an existing ASEAN agreement. Although originally scheduled to be realised by , the target of a free trade area in ASEAN was continuously moved forward. The deal, also being phased in, has eliminated tariffs on 67 percent of all traded products between the regions, and will expand to 96 percent of all products by General Exception GE List.
