Description:Still an okay album, but far from Di Meola's best works. It's one of DiMeola's most accessible albums, but it shows that accessible jazz can be composed without resorting to funk-fusion cliches or Kenny G-inspired dribble. At least is non-fusion, rare "bird" among Di Meola discography. Another throwback, literally, is Phantom, a remake of a song Chick wrote specifically for Return to Forever's reunion tour. Did he have so little faith in the disc's content that he had to resort to that crass bit of marketing?
