The mission of the AAU is to offer lifelong progression of creeds, to enhance the amateur sports programs for persons of all ages, races and physical, mental and moral creeds, to enhance the physical, mental and moral sportsmanship, good citizenship and safety. Further, I, a player in the League, agree that in consideration for the right to play as a member of the team in the League and in consideration for permission to play on the fields arranged for by the team or league: Soccer in New York City has a long and complicated history. Given the broken history and constantly-changing structure of soccer leagues in the United States, it is difficult to properly gauge the most successful soccer club in New York.
